Most recently served as President-Elect of the association.

I have presented on various vacation rental industry topics at Annual and Regional Conferences for VRHP, FVRMA and RezFest over the years.
I have been in the Hospitality Industry for 28 years, starting my career early in life at 13 years old, working as a Linen Boy, Housekeeper and Laundry Worker until the age of 17. At 17, I began working in the Hospitality Industry for a Family Entertainment Center which I did for 10 years.
I have spent the last 15 years working in the Vacation Rental Industry. I started with Meyer Real Estate in 1999 as the Housekeeping Supervisor, revamping processes and developing the first ever software specifically targeted at the challenges that face Vacation Rental Housekeeping Industry. Eventually I was leading all Service (Housekeeping, Maintenance and Association Maintenance) for Meyer Real Estate, until being moved to lead the Vacation Rental Management Division (Reservations, Owner Relations, Guest Relations and Business Development). Over that 5 year span, I led the growth and expansion of Meyer Real Estate’s Vacation Rental Program from 1,100 Vacation Rentals under management to over 2,000 by 2007. I also led the geographic expansion of operations from the Alabama Gulf Coast into Florida. During that time frame, I also led Meyer Real Estate’s EMT (Emergency Management Team) through two devastating Hurricanes (Ivan and Katrina) that left us losing 400 properties to destruction and/or redevelopment, and required the reestablishment of 100% of the Vacation Rental Inventory over an extended period and the push to expand the inventory to replenish the 400 properties lost as a result of the storms.
In 2008/2009, I served again with the Operational Efforts of Meyer Real Estate as the VP of Operations. These areas of responsibility once again had me closely working with Housekeeping, which I am very passionate about, as I have always been a Housekeeper at heart. This included Maintenance Services as well. In 2008, I lead the development of a first for the industry, which is a highly automated Logistical Distribution Center for supplies to the 1,800 properties we manage spread over 45 miles and located in 180 condo buildings and 300 homes. We changed the business model for Meyer Service which includes the recruitment and hiring of 50-120 International College Students (depending on ability locally to fill positions) that we will be house and transport.
Served as Chief Operating Officer for Meyer Vacation Rentals through 2012.
Lead Meyer Vacation Rentals through the many challenges resulting from the BP Oil Leak during the Summer of 2010, which dramatically impacted the Alabama / Florida Gulf Coast tourism and the vacation rental industry.
In December of 2010, was presented with the Mobile Bay Monthly Magazine “Top 40 Under 40 Award” given to the top 40 business, industry and community leaders in the area.
Member of the Leadership Mobile Class of 2012.
In 2012, as leader of Meyer Vacation Rentals as the Chief Operating Officer. Awarded by Business Alabama Magazine one of the Top Businesses to Work For in Alabama.
Awarded the 2012 Lisa Bethea Kavanagh Outstanding Young Alumni of The Year by The University of South Alabama - National Alumni Association.
